Will You Follow The Savior?

Be ye followers of me,
even as I also am of The Messiah.
Paul the Apostle, 1 Corinthians 11:1

DO YOU WANT TO
FOLLOW THE SAVIOR?

We are searching for believers who feel they want to follow the Messiah.

What does it mean to 'follow Him'?

That would mean to do the things He did, the way He did them. Do you want to do that?

It would mean to obey the commands He gave. Do you want to do that?

We believe the basis for statements such as these comes from the ancient scriptures known as The Bible. We have this confidence in The Bible because we find it to be inspired, accurate, internally consistent, and very helpful for guiding our lives.
The Savior said that man should live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of Yahweh, Matthew 4:4.

Our source of truth to live by must be the inspired scripture, not any person or organization, 2 Timothy 3:16.

Now consider these thoughts:

Many seem to think they can be considered followers of the Messiah even if they disobey Him or ignore His example. But our Savior said there is a narrow path which leads to life and only a few follow it (Matthew 7:13-14). Peter wrote, "The Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow in His steps; for He did no sin, nor was deceit found in his mouth." 1 Peter 2:21-22.

His people DO follow Him in every way, Revelation 14:12.

They understand that salvation is a free gift of the Father because of the Messiah's sacrifice and they value that gift and sacrifice enough to follow the Savior in doing as the Father wants.

They follow Him in declaring the Heavenly Father's name (John 17:26). They have found the true name of the Father is 'Yahweh', as given in the original scriptures. They follow the Savior in proclaiming it.

They follow Him in worshiping on the day on which He worshiped, the seventh-day Sabbath. (Matthew 12:8, Mark 1:21 and 6:2, Luke 4:16, 4:31, 6:6 and 13:10). They observe the commanded Holy Days as the Savior and His disciples did.

They follow Him in observing the laws of clean-ness. As Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:17 "Therefore Yahweh says, 'Go out from among them and be separate; do not touch what is unclean. Then I will receive you, I will be your Father and you will be my sons and daughters,' says Yahweh of Hosts." Do you want to follow Him?

They follow Him in loving the brethren. His new commandment (John 13:34) is for us to love one another the same way He has loved us. Obeying that commandment is a great test in following Him.

Whoever claims to live in Him must also walk just as He walked.
John the Apostle 1 John 2:6

The true follower of the Savior is eager and happy to follow Him in every way. He searches the scriptures to find more of what the Messiah and the Father in Heaven desire for him. It may involve some sacrifice but the fruits of following the Savior are good: love, joy, and peace today, and even eternal life at the resurrection.

and I know them,
and they follow me."
